Summer Intern
FARM, Inc.’s summer intern is immersed in the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving, crop insurance company. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience and crop insurance industry knowledge during our 8-12-week program. As a summer intern you will work side-by-side with our team on projects, with ample opportunity for challenges, learning and achievement. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with all aspects of our business: operations, finance, marketing, sales, and client support.
Upon finishing the internship, you may be considered for a full-time role with Farm, Inc.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to the FARM, Inc. team and clients.

Assignments may include:
-
Update and streamline spreadsheets/Client Relationship Management software and follow up with staff on outstanding tasks.

Update claims spreadsheet and monitor claims status.

Attend farm and ranch location tours when possible.

Update social media and websites.

Duties:

Ensures the highest level of customer service to internal clients.

Demonstrated willingness to listen and learn.

Converse with agricultural producers in analyzing and protecting financial risks.

Education and Experience:
Current enrollment in an Agribusiness program at an accredited college or university as a junior or senior.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary:
$15.00 per hour.
